This policy applies to www.lanterna.holdings and to messages received through it. Lanterna Holdings LLC generally conducts business through operating subsidiaries and affiliated entities. Those entities handle information in the course of their own operations under their own arrangements, and this policy does not describe that. It covers the website.

The contact form asks for what is needed to reply and nothing more.

That information is used to respond and to keep an ordinary business record of the correspondence. It is not sold, rented or traded. It is not added to a marketing list, and the company does not send newsletters or promotional email. Where an inquiry concerns a matter handled by an operating subsidiary or affiliated entity, it may be passed to that entity so it can be answered.

The form carries a simple check for automated submissions. A message the check rejects is not delivered. It is written to the server log instead of being discarded, so that a genuine message stopped by mistake can still be recovered, and it is removed when those logs are.

The form is a general contact channel and not a secure transfer method.

Like most websites, this one is delivered by a hosting provider that keeps standard server logs. Those logs typically record the internet protocol address that made the request, the browser and operating system reported by the device, the pages requested, the time of each request, and the referring page where one is supplied. It may also be disclosed where reasonably necessary to establish or defend legal claims, to investigate suspected fraud or misuse of the site, or in connection with a corporate transaction affecting the relevant entity.
